IT environments are exposed to increasingly extensive attack attempts. It is often a mixture of user error or manipulation and different types of automatic searches that the attackers do. Typically, they look for known but unpatched security flaws in operating systems or other programs.
By keeping your IT environment up-to-date, you avoid many of these risks, but it is easy to forget, it is easy to create routes of infection and it is not always easy to detect it.
Thousands of computers and servers are subjected to successful attacks every day. Data is destroyed or ends up in the wrong hands and not infrequently the own computers then become part of the work of trying to infect other computers or deceive other users.
Our monitoring service checks and reports the status of operating systems and about thirty other software. With that support, you can hopefully avoid that forgotten security flaws lead to real damage.
The Subscription
The subscription runs annually and before renewal you will receive an offer to accept. Nothing is extended without your active stance.
NIS2
The EU directive NIS2 will place increasingly high demands on the preventive work around IT security. But also a requirement to report incidents to authorities. There are good reasons to work preventively and automatically to avoid administering unnecessary incident reporting and avoid seeing your brand appear in these contexts.
The software
We use software from one of the world’s leading players in computer management. It consists of these parts;
- A client software that is installed on the devices to be monitored.
- A back office part where we work with, among other things, the regulations that must apply to the service
- A web interface that you as a customer have access to monitor the status of your devices. The interface is protected with multi-factor authentication for your security.
Operation
All operation and data storage for the service takes place in Sweden in our own data centers. The personal data controller is Svenska Infobyte AB with organization number 556663-7707.
